Knowledge Deluded

Everyone seems to think
That they know what is right
If that is true then why are
We in such a terrible plight

Our forests are going
Our air is pretty bad
Our water is even worse
Don't these things make you sad

Some people seem to think that
more money is all we need
but in truth this will only add more fuel
to the fire, compounding all our greed

Lift up your hearts
Let all become one
And stop this insanity
It can still be undone

Live in harmony with nature
instead of crowding it out
You'll help to sustain life on this planet
Instead on stamping it out
